(VB) Ongoing Volleyball Thread

We headed for title and that happens to stuckey. Sigh

 

Kennedy Martin is going to win AVCA national POY as a freshman.

Ugly third set so far. Gators were down 10, now 11-16.

 

Match deserves an asterisk if Wisconsin comes back to win. We were demolishing them with Stucky.

 

From 10 down to 4 down. Lets sweep em!

 

Gators hanging around, inching closer, 24-21.

Unbelievable Stuckey getting hurt. I feel so awful for her and the team.

 

Service errors starting to reappear in the 4th set. Wisky is too good to give them free points.

 

Completely different team without Stuckey out there.

 

Set 4 is more of the same. Badgers up 15-11.

 

For the most part in this 4th passing is pretty solid. A lot of 3 and 2s allowing UF to run their offense. Okammor in the gap is a tall task for the badgers, also like her movement to the pin. Elite level will always be a coin flip!

 

Announcers underestimating the loss of Stuckey it seems. Only a casual mention.

 

Just too many passing errors late in this set. You can’t give a team like the badgers that many free points.. UF really needs to push the pins this final set. Allow Okammor use her size on the slide, her shoulder turn is just to quick for the middle blocker to close that outside arm to get the block

 

Yeah. The adjustment will have to be emotional, as well as physical.

 

Stanford comes back and beats #2 Louisville 3-2. Gators win and they will be #1. We are rolling along dominating the Badgers! Then Stuckey goes down.....
