Yes. That's a cut/paste of her rate card that anyone can hire her. For $74+ a creep could take her to dinner. But I have to think that the "+" comes into play and she can require more $$$ depending on the event or decline entirely. I thought it was shockingly low also.

Gives a new meaning to "pay for play" or is it "play for pay"?

I’m old, but not old fashioned. But unless I’m missing something, this is Bunny Ranch adjacent.

I live in Europe part of the year, and Women of Negotiable Affection are allowed in certain parts of town. What is typically posted is the price of beverages, such as bottle of champagne

I was watching the last press conference Mary Wise had after the loss in the NCAA tourney on 12/8/22. Beason was talking about the team going forward and the last thing Mary said as she was looking at Beason was "we start back in January." Ten days later she was gone. I find it hard to believe Beason didn't know she was leaving at that press conference. She had no business even being there.

Yeah, but the check hadn't cleared yet. Just ask Jaden Rashada about that.

Okay, do we know why Florida vs. Florida State was cancelled due to lack of available players tomorrow? Anything to do with us having but one setter?

Don’t know what happened but losing her to Nebraska or anywhere was a tough pill. A lot of teams could want a top OPP or ride side, but for a team like UF letting one go stinks. Transfer portal is what it is I guess.

I'm not opposed to the transfer portal, per se, but NIL will ruin college sports as everything becomes a money grab. I don't begrudge players getting paid, but I'd like to see caps per position, so that ultimately the school is competing for players on the best education the player can receive, the best training/coaching they can receive, the best facilities, etc. Lots of professional sports have $$$ caps so my idea is not that crazy.

That said, the bottom line is that Beason left UF compared to Tara Caesar, who quit UF. If you leave (rather than quit) and don't spit on UF on the way out, then you are forever a Gator in my book. No one gave two hoots when Riley Fischer left and went to another SEC school. There shouldn't be a double standard depending on the player's ability.

Might be a decent backup, especially if that role is acceptable to her. 5’11 may be as short as you’d want at the position, at our level. Jmo

Exhibition with UCF was interesting. UCF only brought 8 players. Looks like new freshman Kennedy Martin has real potential. Other freshman Kira Hutson was in street clothes for some reason. Went to Orange and Blue game after 3 sets. Anyone know how it ended?

Lost 3-2. I'm not exactly sure why. The two sets we won, we crushed UCF. Those seemed more representative than the sets we lost, although that may be the homer in me saying that.
