(VB) Ongoing Volleyball Thread

Louisville's coach Dani Busboom Kelly is attempting to become the 1st female volleyball coach to win the NCAA title and ending Coach Wise's quest for being 1st. Coach Wise is much more deserving of this accolade. I usually cheer for whoever's playing Texas, but not this time. Hook 'em Horns!

Just checking to see if I was having a nightmare about Merritt Beason entering the transfer portal.

 

Slightly incorrect info. Beason is only a sophomore.

 

May mean she will be a junior in eligibility wherever she lands

 

She was captain of the team as a sophomore, arguably the best player and she leaves. This should not happen. In my opinion college sports are trending downhill.

 

Do you have any idea why? I have talked to some people supposedly in the know, and they have no clue. In fact, I was the one that told them she was leaving.

no, dont get much info about volleyball. Just was sent this a little while ago. But heard she may want to before we went to Wisconsin for the match against Pitt.
