We may not agree on much, but 100% with this statement. I can’t stand Kentucky ever since they won the title. Call me petty, but it pisses me off that we’ve been the historically dominant VB in the league and yet they have the hardware. Still bitter about it.
KY playing a much cleaner match so far. Too many attack errors from our ladies. We're onl.y hitting .096 for the match, KY at .389.
Yeah, I don't understand that. Taylor Parks started set #2 as the setter. Not sure what's going on with Gabby Essix either. She had that great match last Sunday and hasn't played since. Assuming reinjury to her leg.
UK wins set two, 25-20. We have one block in two sets, and our outside hitters are all having a poor match. Very hard to overcome that.
Gators hitting .121 for the match, KY .317. AC Fitzpatrick hitting -.364, 11 attacks, 1 kill, 5 attack errors. Kennedy Martin only hitting .143. We only have 1 block, they have 6. Their passing is just crisper and they're getting many more shots that are cleaner looks. PLus we've tried and failed on too many soft, finesse shots, while Kentucky is mainly throwing bombs.
Well, this is where Auburn was against KY, down 0-2 and they came back to win. Let's see if thre Gators can do it.
1) Too many taps not enough hits. Don't know if that's setter or hitter or both. 2) Ourblocks aren't set/solid. 3) Once again too many service errors. We're hustling, but just can't serm.to put it all together
Both teams have too many service errors, KY 11, UF 8, but we have 11 aces to their 4. So serving isn't the problem today. They are just more efficient with their passing and we have 15 attack errors to their 8. They are blocking us much better as well and we don't put shotds away when we have the chance, giving them more opportunities to get back in the point. But we have a chance, down 1-2. Just got to be more efficient, as they're hitting .348 to our .214
I'm missing something. Why is UK ranked 12th with a 6-6 record? (UF is below them, at 15th, at 10-2.)
5 of their losses are to Top 7 teams. #5 Neb #7 Penn St #7 Purdue #4 Louisville #2 Stanford unranked Auburn
