Can anyone explain why the catcher for Missouri and Oklahoma have tape on their chest protector?

 

Gamecocks out pitched Canady yesterday 1-0 if anyone missed it.

 

Lack of funding for equipment lol? Seriously I’ve no idea. Can anyone explain why the catcher for Auburn can’t simply throw the ball back to the pitcher?

 

I think it’s supposed to help the pitcher aim for a spot. Not sure why the glove isn’t sufficient, but hey whatever works for them.

 

Alabama scores 6 runs in the top of the 6th to take a 7-6 lead over the Aggies. Alabama then gives up the lead in the bottom of the 6th inning
9-7 Aggies still batting with 2 rbi walks so far

No. I can't explain it. It is the worst thing I've seen in a long time. She even does it with a runner on third. She waits for the first baseman to come cover home so they can't steal it and then she walks the ball back to the circle. It is the height of absurdity but I don't know a rule to stop it. The one to stop it is the freaking coach. Play ball. You are in the SEC. If you can't throw it back to the pitcher, turn in your uniform.

 

Well, I doubt it makes sense but if I remember correctly, Oklahoma did it also with Jordy Bahl. Sheesh. If you can't see the plate better than that, get some freaking glasses.

 

You and I are going to lose much hair over this inexplicable nonsense in our next SEC matchup where I expect every game will run 3 hours +because auburn has retarded coaching and a retarded catcher.

 

Speaking of glasses, sometimes saucy Jocey is wearing them and sometimes she’s not. What’s going on with that lol?

On the upside if her arm is so noodle that she can’t throw back to the pitcher even I could steal a base on her so we should feast in that department.

They started this with Bahl... said the blue tape is calming and helped her calm and focus in the circle. I say thats bs.... it's a visual aiming tool is all it is.

 

Watched the Auburn games and the catcher for a while this weekend. Maybe like you say she can’t throw or maybe the pitchers can’t catch. Whatever her unnecessary, irritating and aggravating act takes the enjoyment out of watching the game.

Does the time clock start when the pitcher gets the ball. If so, walking the ball out gives the pitching coach more time to decide and signal in the next pitch?
