It looks like Lendyl Lindaman will be the Volunteer Assistant Coach for this year. Don't know about the Graduate Assistant Coach yet.

2023 Softball Roster
Not much change-Avery Goelz is now #2 from #7.
Interesting that they have not named the Volunteer Assistant or Graduate Assistant Coaches. I still believe Kendyl will be the Volunteer.

Our main hopes are that Liz is healthy and Gigante is as advertised.

 

Biggest factor is development with Delbrey. She stepped up for us in the post season. Also Trilicek.

 

I expect a season similar to last year. One that is very good but not great. Great is not in the to distant future.

 

Just a friendly reminder. Gators ended up fifth in the SEC but were the only SEC team to make it to OKC. Won a game there and ended up fifth in final national rankings. Great for “a very good but not great” team. I expect more overachieving this year. Cautiously optimistic for a better SEC finish and another return to OKC.

 

Hovermale was here this weekend. I saw a picture of her with Kaila Pollard.

Ariel is indeed a ‘23 Gator commit. Rated at the 33rd best player nationally by Softball America. Walton’s 2023 class is absolutely loaded.
