Appreciate all the info brought in from todays games. I thought Mia had a great fall last year too. Hopefully it translates this year. And props to Rick as it looks like he was dead right about Shumaker. Cahalan has had a great fall as well.

 

Fall Ball game competition (ex. FSU) is a big step down from inter squad games. That makes me wonder if it would be within the rules to encourage frequent pickup games during the off season.
You know, get the keys to the stadium or go off campus, choose up sides, maybe get a few former players as subs and coaches, managers as umpires. Maybe get someone from this forum to keep score and post action.
Just have a little fun, build team spirit and compete against the best players in the SEC. Maybe the losers buy pizza and beer.

 

UCF might be competitive this Friday.

 

Remember last winter going to UCF for fall ball and having Keagan greeted with a "no doubter" home run, and wondering how she would handle it. Guess she handled it well.

Hallie's aunt sat behind us, and her daughter is #2 on USF. She said she would be wearing 2 also and to look for her.
On an interesting note, she said Hallie and Wyatt have known each other since preschool.

 

rjenlow, excellent summary! Thanks so much for using last names. Much easier to read and comprehend who is who for those of us not on a first name basis with the players.

First news on softball website in 18 days. Posted by Lauren Staff. I emailed and ask her to post detail on earlier fall ball. Also asked her to more and better news more frequently along the lines of my earlier posts. Congradulated her on new job.
