Reagan with a two run bomb. No idea who was on ahead of her. This lineup is absurd. 1-9 can kill you.
Buford up 7-0 still batting top of 5. Rackley on with a fielder's choice. Tried to get runner at second and missed. Caroline bats behind Rackley and drove a ball deep right but caught and moved runner to third. Buford, GA is a town near Lake Lanier with 18,000 people but they play in the top Georgia class and are dominant in virtually ever sport. There can't be this many great players in every sport living in that small town. Recruiting? Legal?
Buford still up 7-0 going to the 6th. Caroline struck out the side in the 5th but lost her perfect game with a walk. Still no hits through 5. 9 strike outs.
Still a no-hitter for Caroline through 6. One strike out so that makes 10. Error on the second baseman put one on. Caroline had the one strike out and two ground outs to her...one she was really mobile on moving far to her left to make the play on one of them. Looked good.
Kara apparently loaded the bases and walked in a run. Keagan came in a got out of the bases loaded jam with three straight outs. Not clear what constituted the outs.
going to bottom of 7...Buford up 7-0. Rackley had a sharp single to left but Caroline followed with a strike out on a shoulder level rise.
And Caroline throws a no-hitter. Another of many. One walk. 12 strike outs. I think the tournament ends tomorrow so Buford has to be close to the championship game but I assume they will have to win more than one tomorrow since they are coming out of the loser's bracket. I can figure it out in the morning when the bracket is updated. We have a good one. Still with Caroline and Rackley in the circle, it looks good.
Actually, although you are the most "forgiving" person I have ever met...you might be right on this one. I looked it up. Buford is in two counties. Hall and Gwinnett. Gwinnett has almost a million people so you might be right that the 18,000 is misleading. Still, I have no doubt that Buford "picks and chooses" who comes to their school.
Probably, because it happens here in Columbia County. Several state championships in baseball from this county have occurred because kids were on the boundaries.
Ya, know. People constantly complain about paying for streaming be it on ESPN+ or SEC+, or in this case for high school state playoffs. But, my high school made it to the Elite Eight and played three before being eliminated. Buford has played three I have watched. So that's six with tomorrow to go or less than $2 per game. Really? That's worth a complaint?
