It really aggravates me that Brito of OU was named the D1 Academic all American of the year. Otis is the only one that had a 4.0 at one of the top 3 universities represented along with Standfor and Duke and in Pre Professional biology. Her playing stats were also better than Brito's and honestly I think everybody else on this list. She deserved it more than any of them but Brito got it because of OU being on her jersey.

 

Why?

 

Korbe certainly deserved the D1 AAAOTY over Brito. OU’S 4 NC blinded the judging of the true facts….robed! I guess I am bias because I see this through orange and blue glasses!

I scroll through sometimes not too often since its mostly football but I saw a post about Cahalan where everyone just got a little crazy lol. This board is tame most of the time and then to swap over to reading that was a shock.

Everyone was mad at the poster because of the title lol. Our fans didnt seem so pleasant. Some of the worst comments have been removed by mods since I saw it but I was curious if there's a Gator Softball thread there? I haven't seen it if there is.

Saw on an OU board a poster about the tournament there this weekend with all their recruits. The best player there they said was Taylor Shumaker. Her summer stats are the following according to the post:

  • .643 BA, .679 OB%, 1.386 Slug% with 32 doubles, 3 triples and 22 HRs in 162 PAs. 15 SBs. - That does not include 4 HRs that she hit this weekend, at least 4 that I saw. I have watched her play with the Batbusters for 3 seasons. She will add lots of offense to the Gator lineup.

She will be the next they want to try and sway into the portal to them.

So do we have a final 3 for the Stanford P….like OU, Horns, and Gators? We won’t pay imo, so I’m hoping the destination is Austin.

 

There’s no money in pro softball so I can’t fault any of these girls too much for chasing a check. Hopefully her education is at least as important to her as the money. On that front, we can compete with anyone.

 

If its those 3, shr seems more like a UF fit , at least IMO
