Ongoing UF Softball Commentary

We suddenly have a whole bunch of people on this board throwing out B.S who we have never heard from before. Don't want to lose what we had.

lol....you won't get me to disagree with some of that.

 

Everyone is good this time of year and anything can happen, but I like our draw. These ladies have impressed more than me. They were projecting as an 8 or 9 seed a week ago, yea? Look at them now!

 

Thought Okla St got a tough regional for a 5 seed, and Missou is up there as well.
I got two wishes, avoided UCF in Regionals and we didn't get FSU or an SEC rematch in supers. Doesn't mean it's an easy road but certainly can't complain

 

I told my bud, UF gator 72 sb, about two weeks ago we needed to sweep what was left and get to the championship game of the tournament to get to a top 8. We did that. Top 4 was not in my play book.

 

The barners won't be around long.

 

The ladies have found a new gear!

 

I am extremely happy with our draw. There is a good path to the WCWS.

 

I lived in Lafayette for 25 yrs! Almost the entire time USL, as it was then known as, was always in a legal battle with the powers that be in Baton Rouge. Trying to get their name changed to the University of Louisiana. . Could not have that now could they! Especially since it might sway some of the great football talent that Louisiana produces. Eventually the law grads from BR came up with the system they now have. ULM, ULL, ect. Love me some cajuns I do, but not at the expence of my Gators! But I proudly will now and in the future call the Cajuns "The University of Louisiana" Peace out! PS. Been a member of Gator Country since 2007!!

Great first game matchup with UCF....that will be one to watch. Hoping the winner gives FSU fits

For those who have attended the WCWS, what's your advice on tickets? Should you get whole session or is it possible to go and just buy tickets to the sessions you want as the matchups become available? Also, any suggestions on hotels? Been wanting to go for years and work schedules finally aligning so this year or next year may be possible.

No respect for the ACC. Duke at 10 and could have a problem. Utah can beat them.

 

A good path, for sure. But I have a weird feeling that FAU could give us problems getting out of Regionals. I really hope I'm wrong. I'm supposed to be a charter member of the Sunshine Pumpers Club.
