Lauren Haeger wasn’t a polished pitcher her freshman season either yet we all know what kind of career she had. I have no doubt that Ava, just like Lauren will put the necessary work in to get where she wants to be in the circle and mash plenty of homers along the way. Speaking of homers I think Ava is only two behind Lauren’s freshman total.

 

I've said it before, and nobody jumps in to agree with me, but I firmly think Ariel is in the mix to take over at ss next year. Time will tell. I've been wrong before....at least once.

 

I know what I saw watching her play multiple games in travel. She can catch and she can play anywhere in the infield. I always thought she was way underrated.

She's impressive and very steady

 

Simply put. I have never seen any player have the kind of total travel ball season that Taylor had last year. I don't know if she could possibly repeat it but she has everything you could possibly want in a player.

 

FSU with another loss should nail them below UF for seeding, one would think the same of TAMU barring them making an SEC tourney run. Washington also lost today.
Feels like Okla, Texas, Okla St, Tenn, Stanford, Duke are super regional locks, probably UCLA next. Then a dogfight for the 8th spot......UF, UGA, LSU, TAMU, UW, Arky. Conference tourneys can skew things of course, but given the head to heads and the last 6 games it's hard not to see UF as the 8th team as it stands today

 

Well I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I’m getting strong 2013 vibes from this team. Hopefully this squad will go even further than 2013 did. The present and future is so bright for Gator Softball Nation. I’m just so proud of these kids and the staff and CTW. I’m giddy.

 

For those of us following primarily by radio I think we should invest in a Costco sized crate of ricola throat lozenges for Kyle Crooks so he can call every single inning for the remainder of the season!

 

Please no 15 inning game in the WCWS lol

 

I’ve cut my hair so only run rule victories in five innings here on out lol.

 

Sorta know that’s coming

 

Since we have second place in the Conference locked up, and no chance to be SEC Season Champs, I would like to see Liv get a chance for an SEC start. We may need her in the NCAA Tournament. She needs to experience. Besides we need to rest Keagan for her start in the SEC tournament.

 

UF is still not a lock for a top 8 national seed. JMO, the Gators can lock up a top 8 seed with a sweep of aTm regardless of the SEC tourney. Pitch Keagan and breakout the brooms for a final win in front of the home crowd.

UF doesn't play SECs until Thursday. Keagan doesn't need 6 days of rest, 4 is plenty.

I would like to see Liv throw but this about getting a top 8 seed.
