like i said earlier, going to 30 conference games gets rid of 6 cupcake games.

 

There's a difference in being awarded for strength of schedule and taking into account on field results. If we had lsot those games I'd have no issue.

 

To each their own. I like the rpi metric much better than human voting. Both are used for seeding if I’m not mistaken. All of our games from here on out are going to continue to strengthen our schedule and help RPI, assuming we do what needs to be done.

Scheduling terrible teams should hurt you, imo. I think it was a good thing to do for this young team and very young group of pitchers, but it was no secret when the schedule was made that even beating the shit out of these terrible teams was going to hurt our rpi.

Just keep winning and we’ll be fine. I think the teams you’re worried about are going to lose some more games. If we do our job, things will sort themselves out.

 

I just looked it up. Alabama has 42 errors this season.

Off Topic, but give credit where it is due.

 

The epitome of a bomb where the outfielder just turns around and watches it leave the county. What is also amazing about this team....I previously counted 16 pitchers on the roster. While I don't know how or why you have 16 pitchers, I am dumbfounded that only occasionally Cags pitches well and nobody else. How can you have 15 futile pitchers when that is supposedly one of Sully's specialty?

 

Still can’t over look anyone. USF doesn’t produce a lot of runs either but a single can do a lot damage when bases are loaded with free passes. Limit those free passes young superstars! Go Gators!

 

We’re all excited for next season but THIS season isn’t over yet by a long shot! Keep the faith my orange and blue brother! Our Gator Girls aren’t done yet!

 

Sec tournament counts too, big RPI opportunities there. I prefer the days when we were a top 5 lock before the SEC tournament even began but alas we’re not back to that level yet…yet

I love yall and I understand numbers and statistics are important but imo I think you peoples get too caught up in all that and lose sight of what’s truly important occasionally. This is a very young and very special team. Finals will be over soon. Our ladies will bounce back and rise up! Idk if we win a natty this season but if they do I’d only be half surprised. The morale of this story is our Lady Gators are in a great place right now, exceeding expectations, stop worrying about numbers and embrace the magic! Have faith Gator Fans. Enjoy seeing the cornerstone of a dynasty

 

I’m a tiny bit drunk, this team is awesome, we can talk all the crap and numbers until we’re blue in the face. Bottom line is all this means nothing to the ladies in the dugout and on the field. They are giving everything they can to be the best they can be and win. On the other hand our only job is to support them. Idk about y’all but I’d love a big group hug right now lol. Go Gators!
