Something that has always bugged me for years. Many girls, on virtually every team, have something in their back pocket that looks like a phone, can't be a phone, but I can't figure out what it is. If it is a phone, why? Not only not needed but how do you protect it when sliding? Even if you place it on the side of your butt where you don't normally slide, what happens when crashing and rolling over on a headfirst dive at the plate? What is this?
Rothrocks k's last night were the most by a single pitcher since Barnhill in 2019.... crazy the way the pitching changed. Don't get me wrong Hightower, Lugo, Trilcek and others did all they could for us but they weren't elite level. Glad we have that back.
That could be the receiver for the pitch watch. All off fielders are wearing a watch. Korbe may have forgotten to remove it when she went to bat. This just a guess on my part.
She's actually given up 2 earned runs, 1 yesterday against Colgate. Her ERA is 1.14 in 12.1 innings pitched. But I agree with you that she is a very good pitcher who is being overlooked by many of the fans.
I think Elizabeth could have been elite but I was told she was dealing with injury all of last year. Scrappy probably knows if this is true for Scrappy is the EF Hutton of this board..... when Scrappy talks people listen.
Oh yea it is known she and Chronister dealt with injuries. That what I'm saying is they gave us all they had. It just was never to that level of a Gourley Barnhill or Ocasio.
Nope. This has been going on for years. Way before they went to a transmitter. I just used this pic because it popped up today. There are many more than make it look even more like a phone than this.
Well, I would hope not but there are several players on almost every team that appear the same way that there is something "phone" like in their back pocket and this is not something new. That's why I asked the question as if it isn't a phone, I can't imagine what it is.
it was talked about in a podcast or on Instagram. Ottis has chap stick and something else in her pocket.
You guys are not listening. Korbe isn't the only one. And her pic wasn't close to be as definitive as others. This has gone on for years and I guarantee a hard, rectangular, device is NOT a glove. I am not nuts.
Lot's of them carry the cypher for their signals in their back pocket. The thing in Korbe's pocket appears to possibly have an antenna, so it may be the receiver for the new pitchcoms. The square thing you're usually seeing, I'm pretty sure is just the play cards. It is weird how you get so excited over the most meaningless things. Whether you're nuts or not is definitely up for debate.
