A tip of the hat to Oklahoma State -- they're the ones who agreed to travel here on short notice. We just roll out of bed.

So what's the deal on tickets? Will season ticket holders automatically get their regular seat? I don't see the tix for the game in my account.

Tickets for tomorrow's game will be $15 for reserved season and $10 for general admission berm seating. Softball season ticket holders have until 12 p.m. ET Monday, Feb. 19, to purchase their season ticket seat locations and can do so by visiting https://am.ticketmaster.com/gators/invoiceand signing in with the E-Mail address associate with their season ticket account

 

Bought my tickets. Fired up huge game for the Gators. It’s great that Coach Walton and OSU Coach Kenny Gajewski put this game together. Kenny was an outstanding assistant coach for the Gators for years before getting the head job for the Cowgirls.

 

Coach Kenny was the best! Good opportunity to see how the Gators respond to a legit, competitive team!

 

I bought the OSU tickets for my seats in Section 102, Row 5. I can’t go. I want real Gator fans sitting in my seats. Is anyone interested? It’ll be $15 for each seat plus Venmo or PayPal handling cost. So, it’s $30 plus handing. I have two seats.

 

This is good for both teams. Squeezing in one ranked team in this stretch is not going to hurt us much if we lose, and is great experience. And we get it at home.

 

Yep. To an extent. I wonder what financial arrangements are involved. Okie State was already here for the Clearwater tournament so the actual move to Gainesville is nothing. But I assume they had a flight back to Oklahoma on Sunday they canceled and they would be incurring extra hotel and food expenses, etc. I'm sure this got accomplished because of Tim's and Kenny G's long relationship.

 

Kudos to the people that put this game together on such short notice. Quite an accomplishment. Tonight, our highly touted freshman are going to find out what big time division one softball is all about. I wish them well. Go Gators.

Season record 6-2, including win over UCLA.

 

Gator twitter page is now showing game on SEC+. Doesn't show that way in the schedule page or on Watch ESPN but I doubt it is a mistake.

I don't think that's correct although that's what ESPN is showing. I don't think it is possible for a SEC home game to be on anything other than a main ESPN channel or the SEC Network or SEC+. We are showing SEC+ which makes sense. The only way it could be ESPN+ is if Okie State has brought a mobile production facility with them and is producing the game and that's not happening.

 

The tourney games were on espn+ last year. Softball and baseball. I think this one could be on espn+ simply because it’s not a scheduled game. Some games in some sports are on both espn+ and sec+. Maybe they’ll add the sec+ feed later.

 

I suppose it possible since ESPN has been shifting a bunch of elite games in all sports to ESPN+ to drive up the subscriber base. I still think it will be on SEC+ due to the contracts involved and, more so, we are showing it as being on SEC+. I don't recall any SEC tournament games on ESPN+ but that's stretching my memory. I just doubt it. NCAA tournament games played at a non SEC or non ACC school probably were on ESPN+, at least some of them, but not games played in SEC or ACC stadiums. For instance, a NCAA tournament game played at Louisiana, if not on a main ESPN channel, would have to be on ESPN+ as that's the only provider for Louisiana being a non SEC and non ACC school.

 

I wasn’t talking about the sec tourney. I’m talking about the regionals that we played at home.
We’ve had football and basketball games broadcast on both.

 

I am fairly confident we have never, ever, had a football game or a basketball game on ESPN+ unless it happened to be an away game at a non SEC or non ACC school. I doubt even that ever happened in football and would be rare, if ever, for basketball. For instance, an away game at Oklahoma, in any sport would have to be on ESPN+ as that's their provider until they join the SEC and that will end. But a UF/OK football or basketball game in Oklahoma would be on one of the main ESPN channels so that's just a theoretical example. We'll just have to agree to disagree and will find out in a couple hours.

 

Here's Kyle Crooks post from an hour ago....says he will be shifted to SEC+.
