lmao.... So, Taylor Shumaker, today, is back (partially...she's only DP) from her injury. Probably not 100% or she would be in the field also. Nevertheless, she went 2-2 with a run scored, a rbi and a home run. Simply the best summer of club ball I have ever seen. And Jocey knows it.

 

Taylor's first ab back. Clearly not right. Tries to loosen her back before getting in the box. Trots around the bases like a little old lady. But, she can still go yard.

 

My my, im convinced

 

Not sure why she's still playing vs healing up......I wouldn't be putting her out there if clearly dealing with something

 

Taylor's 2nd ab. At least she was able to run it out and beat the throw but she isn't running like normal and they then pinch ran for her after the clip ended.

 

Well, it is the summer ending Alliance National Championship tournament but I doubt that's relevant to them. The Batbusters are loaded with talent. They have kids on the bench that could start almost everywhere else. I have to believe she has some sort of muscle injury and can't hurt herself by playing, even on a limited basis. Batbusters have been doing this for a very long time and they would not jeopardize a player's future in college for an immediate return. Every player...on every team....every year...gets a scholarship. They have had more elite players than you could possibly count over the years. They know what they are doing.

It's so bittersweet. One family is grieving a lost of a loved one. Another family loved one is receiving a second chance at life.

I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see Layla and Jolyna Lamar participating.

 

Their brother said he was watching his sisters in California this week.

 

That would be great for their mental health.

Layla has been playing this summer hasn't she? I'm sure James would prefer they get out there rather than sit around a hospital room

 

Both Layla and JoJo have been playing this summer as has the Lady Dukes up to now. Layla and JoJo may be in California now for the PGF All Star game but, even though scheduled, I don't think the Dukes are there as a team. They have never shown up with any scores since day one in the Tourney Machine.

 

Lady Dukes Lamar got knocked out today I belive.
