    … back in the portal.

He apparently didn’t see the same growth and opportunity as @tampajack1! I kid.

    Anyway- Omar transferring again.

I really thought he could become a good player at FL, but I was wrong. Maybe he can go to Samford and kill it!

First of all, I am really surprised that he is back in the portal because he is going to have to sit out a year. As to my take on Payne. When he was in high school and most of you were going gaga over him, I posted on here that he was a very athletic kid who could block shots and dunk but needed to work on the rest of his game. Many of you were saying that he was better than the big kid who started ahead of him and went to FSU. I posted no on that one. He then spent 2 years at UF and had no development whatsoever. It seemed like there was no developmental plan. At Illinois, I said that he might never start for them, but he was in the rotation and his setting of screens, his defense and his ball movement were improving. I also said in at least one post that I thought he could do better as a 4 instead of a 5. That’s about all I said about Omar. I stand behind all of those statements.

Why would I block posters who engage in normal discourse? I just don’t want to deal with the nasty boys anymore.

Payne would not kill it at Samford and Glover is not excelling because Samford is a mid-major. I doubt that the Gators would have beaten Samford at Samford. Furthermore, as I have pointed out ad nauseam, Glover kicked ass against the best teams on Samford’s schedule, including teams such as Chattanooga and San Francisco.

Payne lacks the “want to” in my opinion, and that isn’t something you can teach..

I hope he finds it in his off-season so that he can attempt to get paid somewhere to play basketball after..

The times I saw him play this year were disappointing. Fouls are still a big problem and there wasn'tmuch room on that roster for much play time. Overall, his game looks the same. Hopunv he will break through soon.

Not even close. The purpose of these boards is to have an intelligent dialogue. I am not going to waste my time on ridiculous dialogues, and since I am stupid enough to get involved in the ridiculous dialogues, blocking is a god send.

Kockburn is gonl, right? I would think OP should have a good opportunity at Illinois next year. It's a very good program, so why would he leave?

Not sure whiner went to a place where he was going to be a backup. There were a ton of schools he could have been a starter, I’m sure he had other interested schools.

I remember he had a huge game versus Auburn and thought he would take off from there. 19 points, 11 rebounds to bear then number 4 Auburn in 2020.
