Eh, looks like Micah needs to move to the stretch 4 next year. He IS practicing 3s in games. That's okay, he has someone tall to rely on rebounds next year. Or maybe he will have a growth spurt. Poor fella. He got "outgrown".
Welcome Olivier from the Gator Nation! Looking forward to you in the orange and blue! I have listened to many people pronounce his name as O liv via. 7’6+ 295-300 lbs. I hope he enrolls after playing ball wherever this summer. Florida got the word out on him with his commit. Others will be talking and promising, actually throwing things at him. I hope we have a plan!
He seems quite mobile for that size. On one clip he drives from the top of the key and dunks practically without jumping. Crazy. If he can stay healthy (sometimes an issue with these rare guys way over 7’) he could be a very impressive prospect. Edit: rewatching the clip he actually missed that drive and dunk. Oops. Lmao. But still impressive a 7’6 guy drove the lane like that.
LOL. A lot of those aren’t even fair. Going against guys that look maybe 6’4 in some cases. Even at 7’6, he’ll need to develop some post moves. But his mobility and footwork already look good (in those short clips anyway).
