    Fisher, is supposedly visiting this weekend. I Dont know much about him except he hit 20 HR and played 3rd base and UF is likely destination. But i defer to the experts

    Andrew Fischer, sophomore third baseman, hit .285/.397/.643 with 20 HRs last year. 35 walks against 53 strikeouts. Left-handed hitter. Struggled defensively -- .908 fielding percentage at third base last year.

    Seems amusingly similar to Shelton when he announced his transfer here.

    We have a good chance here. One of the top transfers on market. His teammate and Pitcher is visiting with him. Another stud as well.

    What's a kid from NJ doing in Oxford anyway.

    Sounds like players are bailing on Bianco. They have a bunch of transfers. Another Miss on the post season and Ole Miss could be looking for a new HC.

    I have been to Oxford in Ohio and in Mississippi. I thought both were really nice college towns.

    So have I. For that matter also been thru Oxford, Alabama and Oxford, Fl ( not college towns). Totally different cultures from NJ tho.

    Fischer is at Tennessee today. The Vols already picked up top transfer Gavin Kilen from Louisville last week and if they were to sign Fischer, it would give UT the top two left side infielders from the portal.

    Hopefully UF made a strong enough impression this past weekend and Fischer comes to the good guys later this week.
