Women’s volleyball and gymnastics, you bet. Not watching men in either. Especially beach volleyball.

Nothin more boring than a low scoring soccer game, whether in person or on TV.

Agree with a lot of this here.

I want to support UF sports. But, I don’t like women's basketball or soccer. The aesthetics are poor- clumsy and unathletic.

Only watch women's volleyball and swimming in the Olympics, but I think they’re excellent. Enjoy them more than their male counterparts. Women’s tennis is good, but I haven't cared about any type of tennis since the last century.

I also despise women’s boxing; it’s the worst. I’ve only watched it a couple times. Yet, I think womens’ MMA is fantastic. Don’t like to see the brutality with them, but the competition is excellent.

Women's lacrosse is fun to watch. Lots of scoring, ball flies up and down the field fast, and in the last 5 years, it's gotten really physical.

Because of the stick pocket difference, it requires more stick skills than men's lacrosse. Which makes you really value what they can do. Super, super athletic.

(Rant: and super country-club. Look at the roster and they all come from prep schools.)

As a true man, I find a lot of these post misogynistic at best. It is embarrassing because I am sure not many could play any type of ball with these young women. If you dont like it or want to watch that is your choice and you are missing out on highly intense and competitive action for the most part. Some you are tubbards should be ashamed of yourselves for being simple minded fools. Just ridiculous comments

I get the lack of support for women's b ball nationally and I don't follow the sport that closely, but if she and other coaches don't promote the sport who will. SC was nothing till Dawn Staley came along and created a winner. I believe they outdrew the men's team last year.
I'm a big college baseball fan and recall the days when there was only token attendance everywhere. Then coaches like Ron Fraser came along, marketed the sport, and now places like ole miss/LSU/ark average 10-12K fans per game. Even UF is top 10 in baseball attendance.
It may never happen in Oxford, tho Mississippi St draws pretty well, and her approach may upset some people, but I give her credit for trying.

nah I can do it in person also, you come on here talking about women not being athletic, I am sure any girl on that team could whip your behind in any sport they play. It was a true statement about you and I stand by it. Again we can meet in person sometime since you say I am a keyboard coward. I dont have an issue with that.

    This is an odd post.
Am I biased against men bc I prefer womens’ tennis… or does it only work in one direction?
    People have preferences.

no need for posters to come on here to try and demean a woman or her team because they are just women playing a sport. What does you liking womens tennis have anythig to do with what I was talking to them about. Call it odd all you want, If I think someone is being demeaning or mysogonistic I will tell them.

    “Them”.
    “Someone”.
    “A lot of these posts…”.
    “Some of you…”
    “ashamed of yourselves…”
    “Simple minded fools…”

My tennis reference was a defense against accusations of misogyny that carpet bombed the thread.

    i mean, I don’t even know if I’m a tubbard or not.

Kidding aside- if you are gonna throw something like “misogynist” out there… you should be specific in your target. You weren’t. And thus my post.
