    Muschamp played ‘91-‘94 so never beat UF. Smart played ‘95-‘98 so was a freshman at the 50 point beat down in Athens, but did have the one win in ‘97.

    He revolutionized college football offenses. One of too many SOS quotes was after he hung 50+ on UGA in Athens when the Gator Bowl was being renovated. He said simply, “Y’all got a nice ball yard up here.” That may still be the most points ever allowed by Ga at home.

    Freshmen didn’t play back then. I think it wasn’t until 1974 when Tony Green broke the team season rushing record (about 850 yards).
