Moms of Liberty maniac Tiffany Justice likely SecEd.

She hits the trifecta of Ultimate Irony with exact opposite personal name, organization name, and qualifications. Basically a shoe-in.

She makes DeVos look less disastrous, for those who cling to the “it can’t get worse” idea.

I was kinda hoping I’d check back in to see that the story had been at least exaggerated. This sounds insane.

Again. Most probably don't. There are organizations that provide Bibles for free. That is what a fiscally responsible approach should be, even to those of us that support Bibles in schools. Man I am so ready for Trump to disappear. It's making me borderline wish for very dark things and I don't like where it takes me. But he needs to be gone.

Huh? He said none of us on the "right" would care. I called that "incorrect". I feel many would, but no one is going to even know about it.

You and I likely wouldn't have.

So it isnt that we don't care about such things, its that most things that come up on a political message board, are not coming up at the water cooler, or during my sons game/practices or my daughters daily dance practices, or on ESPN Radio in my car, or on the local news, or in my AirPods at the gym or in my managers meeting, or even on 90% of this website etc... In other words, wherever most people spend 99% of their time.

I bet if you ask 100 people walking into the Swamp tonight, 99 to 100 will say they had no idea.

Again, a place where a very small % of the overall population goes to. And certainly fewer on the "right".

I know what you mean. Some of these posters bring out the worst in me, to-wit, those who put loyalty to one man over loyalty to our country. Most shocking: they dismiss the warnings of just about every single person who served in Trump's administration. A review of history reveals that that dictators and oppressive regimes - from the Communist revolution, to Hitler, to every dictatorship since - depend upon such people. They are traitors to America.

If a small town in Michigan with a Muslim population enacted Sharia law, I’m betting every conservative in the nation is going to hear about it on Fox or other such sources, as they should.

This is not the argument, nor should it be.

I would have thought a decent amount of the population had heard of the Hill. That is just where I happened to see it, I would think it was reported in many other places.
I also thought they leaned a little right. Of course the far right may not use it as a news source because it's factual.

Probably the only place this is not getting reported is on the far right wing sites. A quick search shows it on most major sites.

And of course many of the right wing sites support the move. And even if their sites were reporting it they would still support.

And even though some of the requirements are incredibly bad (the most historically accurate comes to mind) the right doesn't care (even if many of them stopped using the KJV years ago).

$60 seems crazy expensive for a Bible in a school classroom.

Honestly, $60 for any bible is way expensive. The nicer ones run in the 40 range and if you go to a discounter you can get them much cheaper. If you want real leather you could pay a bit for that--but that is personal choice.
