Thanks Gal! Yogi was my hero when I was kid. I had #8 in Little League. The movie was step back in to the past. Little did I know what a wonderful soul he was. We should all be like Yogi, but, "If you can't imitate him, don't copy him!"

Real Yogi-isms: You can observe a lot just by watching. It's like deja vu all over again. No one goes there nowadays. It's too crowded. Baseball is 90% mental. The other half is physical. A nickel ain't worth a dime anymore. Always go to other people's funerals. Otherwise, they won't come to yours. You wouldn't have won if we'd have beaten you. Never answer an anonymous letter. I usually take a 2 hour nap from one to four. Slump? I ain't in no slump.... I'm just not hitting. The future ain't what it used to be.
Yogi was a free swinging left handed hitter. He went after a lot of pitches out of the zone, yet he rarely struck out. Look up his typical K's per year. Baseball stat has his avg career over a 162 season as .285, with 109 RBIs, 27 HRs and....only 32 K's. He struck out about 1 time every 5 games.
My favorite Yogi quote is one where he is smart and not dumb: "I can see how he (Sandy Koufax) won twenty-five games. What I don't understand is how he lost five."
