Ito completely lost control of the court and it became a clown show. Same thing happened down in Orlando with Casey Anthony.
So it was okay for OJ to kill them both? The facts, as I understand them, are that Goldman and Nicole worked at the same restaurant and Nicole's mother had left something there. Nicole asked Goldman to pick it up after he left work and bring it to her. Forensic evidence showed the Nicole was hacked to bits and died first, and evidently Goldman showed up almost immediately thereafter and was also slashed. He apparently walked in on the murder scene. What you got?
There is a good friend of mine and prominent attorney here in Atlanta, who is on one of the major networks regularly, and he says there is a cadre of attorneys that are convinced that if they were to reopen the case and interview him, that they could build a case. He was sheltered from interviews, and everything had gone cold by the time he was interviewed. They had OJ in the crosshairs, and that was all that mattered. I'm not saying that's what happened. I'm just saying, there are some very credible folks who believe that there is way more to the story than we have been led to believe. Based on the incompetence of the prosecution, it wouldn't be a surprise. Mark Fuhrman single-handedly destroyed that case on the stand. OJ should've been sending money to him. The son moved to Atlanta and was a chef for years. He was as far away from LA as possible and it just sort of faded away. Again, not saying the son is guilty. Just saying there was some smoke.
I saw The come on man. That's cool. I can also give you some insight into Jon Benet Ramsey, also an Atlanta connection. Don't mean to hijack the thread.
Rarely discussed is the fact he left his two small children afterward, then 5 years and 7 years old, alone for hours, asleep in the residence. They could have woken at any time to find their mother dead, along with Ronald Goldman.
Only heismans qualify but only if they’ve previously stolen a laptop and put their name on someone else’s paper. I think he may be one of a kind.
I was on my way to class at Shands and watched the verdict in the lobby with a bunch of other people. Not to stir things up, but if my memory serves…. There was a lot of applause. I actually forgot where I saw the verdict till I saw mention of him on a Gator board..
OJ was involved, but I’ve never ever believed he was the only one. There is no way with the timeline.. My late father watched this trial from the very beginning all the way to the endings and always felt there was more then what meets the eye. My father was so confident in OJ that he bought the autograph of Johnny Cochran and OJ 8X10. I still have it and it’s locked away.
Hush money is legal in California? What about in New York? Interesting how that works for some and not for others. I guess hush money is legal only if you are hiding a crime, and not just bad press.
Te prosecuting attorneys were way overmatched. Hate to say inept but think they got destroyed by a team of professionals who were way smarter. I still can't believe they let OJ speak to the court????
The legal profession has always been like what we see now in college sports with NIL. Upon graduation and passing the bar, those who are top of the class USUALLY go where the money is such as defense or personal injury. The ones who aren’t so talented (or are naive idealists) take low paying jobs such as prosecutors or public defenders. At trial time if the accused has the money to pay them it usually ends up being UGA vs The Citadel and that is what we saw in the OJ trial.
