Ohio Game in Tampa Tickets are on Sale

Just kidding here .. leave it to u for drama though!

 

I moved away from the Tampa area in 2005, so it may have changed. Other than the spot next to the arena, there was never much of anything to do downtown. It was more Ybor City or some of the restaurants in south Tampa, like Bern's or the Tapas place. Where there actually bar/restaurants to visit downtown and was it really that rough?

 

I was born and raised in St. Pete in the 50's and 60's and we wouldn't go to Tampa back then.

 

I live in St Pete part-time now... and I won't go to Tampa. Offers very little in a highly congested environment. Kinda nasty really.

Right on. I did hear that Ybor devolved into a pretty violent place, which is sad, because it's a nice setup with the street closed to traffic and lots of options for dining & entertainment.

 

Still a little seedy..

 

I had tix and planned to go, but my daughter qualified for her conference weightlifting meet so I'll be there supporting her instead. Go Gators!
