It’s mainly the game threads where they are being strict - Because they had largely become such cesspools across all sports.
Pretty sure if you start a thread to voice your concerns (with some form of dialogue and evidence) it won’t be yanked.

 

I'll move onto another board if an "opinion" that was not derogatory just gets deleted based on some rule as to how many years a coach or administrator is in their position.

 

Let me try this: I think Kelly is a decent coach but not SEC caliber. See if this makes it.

 

Let’s try this: Kelly is a decent coach in her first year (really) as a head coach who lost her best player before the season started. She will probably get better. By most reports she has a very strong relationship with her players which is critical in WBB. Word of those relationships gets around and attracts the top players. (We do have a five star McDonalds AAcoming in next year)
Do we miss Plank? Yeah, we miss Plank.

 

I have either followed or posted on this site for decades and been an avid fan of the program from Ross to Peck to Butler to Newbauer and to Kelly. Today I was accused of calling for a year one coach's job.

#1 That never happened. Every coach deserves 3 years at least as some of you will recall I stood by Amanda and Cam for several years to have a chance to build. #2 That does not mean coaches are infallible or undeserving of scrutiny.... if that is something they can't handle then they chose the wrong profession. #3 If that is what a board for sport discussion is going to be then it's more a stats and cheerleaders board and not an honest forum. Derogatory comments or hate filled... ban away, but if being open and honest is a sin on this board for the sake of discussion with fellow fans who have supported the program over the years then count me out.

I'll still follow recruiting and hope to hear from the few of you I have interacted with regularly over the years . Regardless of what may or may not happen or what anyone thinks they know.... I will continue to root for Kelly and the Gators to succeed, but I am going to do so from other venues. I hope nothing but the best for all of you I have had the privilege of interacting with on here even when we disagreed because that is what being a true fan is IMO.
