Glad to see Hammock is still in.

 

Hammock just threw one 67 and then hit batter on next pitch. 2 outs top 6.

MCB51, you’re too kind. I was trying to watch the game and one finger type on my phone. Just tried to add a little color not provided by radio or stat line.

 

I was doing other things and just caught statsbroascast updates from time to time. Got the bats going some tonight and won easily. Pitching was solid and it was good to see Mia Willimas get 3 hits. Otis, Falby, Shumaker and Cahalan had 2 hits each. Only 1 strikeout and 6 more walks. The season is off to a great start. But it's a griund. Delaware & Michigan tomorrow. One at a time.

 

Alysb21, that thought crossed my mind tonight. No one consistently hit the ball harder tonight than Cahalan

 

Delaware beat Michigan pretty good today and Michigan beat us twice last year. Team gotta come out prepared and focused.

 

The issues with last night game was way too too many walks by Ava. The pitch count way too high towards middle innings. I would not have put her out there in the 5th inning considering the delay in the game from the fireworks being launched at beginning of that 5th inning. It would not surprise me if Rothrock pitches against Delaware and Red against Michigan but we will see.
