    Everyone was screaming for SS to elevate KRF from interim and give her the gig. These boards are rarely unanimous on anything.....but it was pretty much that on the hire

    Young team. Lot of growing pains. Too many transfers out for there to be consistency. Elevating an Assistant Coach will not turn around your ladies program. Soccer and ladies BB were two poor SS hires

    To be fair, he put himself in a situation where he basically had to by naming her interim and then the team having a good year after a PR nightmare. The better solution would have been to hire a more known commodity from the start, especially given Kelly had been on the prior staff that caused such a mess.

    That's true....but I think the Cam hire was generally applauded as well. But you are right that the KRF thing was somewhat the only option given circumstances
