I’m curious if Rothrock will get a chance to shake off some rust.

 

I’m not looking for Rothrock until 26th (UCF) for rust removal. If she was possibly 90% on Monday, no need to push the rehab. Maybe not till Auburn.

 

Agree completely. Since she didn't pitch against Texas, no reason to throw her against two cupcakes. This gives her another week to rest and rehab. Go an inning or two against UCF and be ready, hopefully, for Auburn.

 

It’s a beautiful night for some softball! I set up in the shade in front of some of the bushes right under the scoreboard, and I’m just praying that nothing crawls out and eats me while I’m distracted by the game… ha. Hammock and Brown are both throwing in the bullpen right now, so I’m thinking Rothrock will be getting some more recovery time. She looked great during the team warmups, though!
