(SB) OGT: UF vs Arkansas April 5, 2025 4 pm ESPNU Game 2

With Keagan pitching and Gators up 3 zip, I put this game in the win column. As usual I was wrong. With Ava on the mound with the bases loaded with no outs I put this game in the loss column. Again I was wrong. Bottom line is I no nothing. However I am a loyal fan and didn't start watching basketball until Korbe hit the homerun. Love these girls. Go Gators.

 

Naysayers need to have a little faith in these girls. When everyone doesnt hit instead of bashing our offense why not acknowledge this team beat tennessee and has really good pitching. EVERYONE in the SEC is operating with an ACE except us ...we can make all the excuses we want about errors at ss and defense but we are walking pitchers and hitting them...YOU CAN NOT WIN GAMES IN THE SEC DOING THIS! I still think a line up shake up is necessary. Mia williams is putting up unbelievable numbers and 90% of the time noone is on the bag. Thank God they got walked and were on last night when she tied the game up. Hot bats need to be up top so we get out fast on them. I believe the 8 and 9 hole need to have some new kids getting oppurtunities. People may disagree but id like to see olivia and ava today ..numbers dont lie and walking kids and giving up homeruns early in the game is killing the momentum. Just my opinion !

 

Bri is great but she's not the best ever. She is jsut like her predecessor at Auburn Kasey Cooper, who was another great. I dont feel like she's any better than Lorenz, Alo, Jennings, or Wallace though. Great ending absolutely.

 

I love how Jocey was celebrating for Korbe! She might have been the most excited! Also was it my imagination or did I see Aubrey Monroe in the stands?

Runners were on 2nd & 3rd. Erickson intentionally walked to pitch to Otis. Kaboom Korbe made the piggies pay!

Wtaching the game finally....Erickson and Ava both took hard hits in that top of the 8th. For ava to bounce back from that liner off the hip especially was good.

 

Who do you want to see in the 8 and 9 hole?
