Gators set records for runs and hits in a game, 24 and 22 respectively.

 

Wonder why Tim used Brown in the last two innings up 21 runs. Heard his interview say oxley was on a pitch count. Wonder what her pitch count is? Per game or per week? Wonder why he didn’t leave Miller in or let Kara pitch?

 

Apparently they didn't clear the entire bench. I don't see that Hovermale played in a 24-3 game.

 

She actually was wearing just street clothes this weekend, so i don't know if she has some type of injury.

 

I would have preferred to let Liv finish it out. We haven’t been able to see much of her in two years.

 

When I saw Brown come in and not Hammock it said a lot. With Oxley back and Hammock int throwing strikes (Tim’s biggest pet peeve), I think it’s a four pitcher rotation now. And if Oxley continues to gain innings it will be a three pitcher rotation. Not to say we won’t see Hammock again, but I think todays decision said a lot.

 

Crazy game. I didn't listen to it because by the time we got home it was already 16-3, so my focus became the baseball game. But looking at the stats, just incredible offensive production. And other than the 1st inning bomb, it looks like Miller was pretty good. I, also, thought Olivia was going to be a solid SEC pitcher and maybe she eventually will be. She's only starting her sophomore year and some pitchers take longer to develop. And I think she's a better option than Hammock, even now. But I agree that our pitching pecking order is probably going to be Rothrock, Oxley, Brown. Ava is a competitor and she threw some big innings last year and is going to be a major factor down the road. I, also, agree that we have the talent to win it all. But early on it seems there are a few more elite teams than maybe people thought starting the year. But we'll be in the mix, for sure.

 

Kind of sucks, because she has some nasty stuff, but at this stage in her career, it seems her control is what it is. She’ll probably still have opportunities to eat some innings, but would be hard to trust her in a tight game.

 

Unless Hammock gains control of her pitches, she most likely will be the least used pitcher.

that’s the worst thing about this game. There was no TV to show who gave her the wedgy.

 

I asked Brooke during fallball who would give her a wedgy when she hit a home run. She said probably the whole team.
