Great comeback. I was worried that the loss of both of our bigs would be too much but the guys stepped up. The contributions by Gatkek and Lane were huge today.
Surprised that Gatkek played as well as he did without fouling out Appleby played under control, great game. Lane, never been a big fan of his game, but was a difference maker, deserves more time. Jones hit a late 3, and some clutch freebies. Hope this turns his shooting around. Just hoping we can have 2 wins in a row now.
Ok st started our downslid when we lost the first game to them..here's hoping that by getting a win here moves us back upward...hopefully a confidence builder
Maybe this is the game plan from now on. Play straight up for the first half and then release the hounds in the second half, hoping the other team comes out overconfident and by the time they realized what hit them, it is too late for them to make adjustments and get the momentum back.
We played a version of the Forty Minutes of Hell that Nolan Richardson played at Arky, but only in the second half. It worked better than I thought it would. I would say great adjustment but I know that on NBN most posters think that Mikey can't coach.
Stifling second half defense was the difference IMO. Really took OSU out of their game. Great comeback!
