With 8 minutes left to play, Milwaukee had only 26 points! Awesome defense!

 

Yep. Lots to work on, but I think he's got what it takes.

If I were coaching him up, I'd say prepare more (he didn't seem to know anything about Milwakee (and forgetting Zach Hodkins was cringe)), and add more commentary in general. PbP guy carried a lot...

Another great game. Getting my expectations up.

 

This team is shaping up to be a group other teams are not going to want to play.

 

Just got back from the game.

Great defensive effort except for giving up a 12-0 run in the second half when we were up by 39. I am sure that is what Coach White will talk about with his players.

The first half was very physical until it got too physical toward the end and then lots of whistles to the break. Lots of good looks from 3 in the first half but couldn't break the ice.

Second half was a wood shedding even with giving up the 12-0 run. This team is really locked in defensively and that is hard to do with a bunch of new guys without much experience playing together. The 04's were good on D out of the gate in the 2005-06 season, but they played with each other the whole year before and really bonded. What these guys have done is amazing.

 

Love me some Patric Young! Dude is everything we expect a Gator athlete to be. He’s gonna be a good media personality.

 

Based on the broadcast, CMW thinks this is his second best defensive team behind the elite 8 team.

 

So is Felder just not going to earn minutes this year, or has he been sick?

 

The last time I felt like this.

Syracuse game, November, 2005…..

 

They didn’t “think” they were going to win…..they KNEW they were going to win.

 

I believe he's been sick. I expect we'll see him a lot in the next couple of games.

 

Pump the brakes son.

 

It's early and the sample size is too small but there's a lot to like. Love the defense.

 

Them Ohfours took it to Walsh and Roberson in practices. I’m with you. We have a team that gets it. Defense and effort.

 

I've got a lot of respect for the Milwaukee program, but this prediction was not only wrong, it was proven monumentally wrong.

 

I might be here after the Fort Myers trip.
