We have no 3 point shooters. Not happening. Will be a problem with this team all year. You either have shooters or you don't. The guys who could probably help us with shooting don't play defense worth a damn so can't get on the floor.

Wasted opportunity. Missed lay ups that resulted in 3’s killed us. Player with no skills from 3 lighting us up killed us. Need to win the next 2 badly.

Xavier guards use those forearms with a lot of drives and getting the defenders off of them surprised they could straighten them out to gator chomp

 

Yeah we look lost on defense much of the time.

Oh look Xavier players and fans doing the mock chomp. Not sure why, they look pretty stupid doing so.

Anytime. Did I mention how bad the defense was, again, with our best defender on the bench?

 

7 bricks to end the game. Geez. Well, glad I only spent 30 minutes watching. We look like the same team as we did against FAU. Gave up 90 points on 56% shooting. Not going to win many games with that defense. It is early in the season with a new coaching staff, though. Let's see how well Golden coaches up our team defense as the season progresses. We have the athletes, just need better coaching.

 

I watched a team claw back from being down several times after 5-point swings . . . using defense. Very good defense.

 

He was the only one hitting. Hit two in a row to keep us close but then he and everyone else started throwing up brick after brick.

 

Hey guys, no big deal losing to these guys. We will get much better.
