He’s playing horribly

 

Lofton has been super disappointing… especially his demeanor.

 

We made 5 of 6 free throws..you mean 3 pointers

 

It seems our team is more focused on their hair style and not the fundamentals of basketball. Hopefully we can go on a run soon or else things could get out of hand.

 

At this point, we need to just continue shooting 3pt shots until they start to fall. We have to get our confidence.

 

This is a long way from Billy Donovan's 3-pt shooting teams.

 

I could understand if we were playing against an FSU team that was at full strength and a legitimate ACC champion contender.

But to show up like this after losing to a hapless FAU is terribly disconcerting.

 

To me, this looks a lot like last year's offense. Way too much dribbling and very little passing as players are trying to play hero ball. It looks like a variation of dribble drive offense. FSU is very quick and disruptive; always are. We need sharp, quick passing and to run some sets. We don't shoot threes well, just like last year. That's okay, just stop taking them.

Did we work on anything in practice?

 

I guess the days of 5 to 7 minute offensive droughts are not over. What can Golden do? We can't hit lay upside, can't hit 3s. Best we can do is draw fouls and try to hit free throws.

Not to mention they are missing 3 guys to injury. We are fully healthy and plain stink
