Neither Reeves nor Kugel played in the second half.

Bonham brought a lot of energy

 

Kugel got 0 minutes in the second half. Still too raw. Missed an easy lay in and mishandled the ball a couple times. Dripping with athletic ability. Hopefully comes on strong by mid season.

 

He’s our best shooter

 

If players aren’t going to do what Coach tells them, then the bench is going to be a place to reflect while others play. Changes at half sparked a fire that turned things around.

 

They were pushing slapping and you are probably spot on, punching us in the mouth. I saw JJ get hit in the face, of course no foul. We got the warrior attitude after the halftime and played smart and aggressive. Tre Bonham and Richards both relaxed and did what they do best and scored inside and outside which opened it up for CC. Even Fudge took it to the hoop and scored a highlight reel piece. He is very quick for a big. Of course CC with others helping took over as General Colin! LOL
Happy for the team and Coach Golden. CTG seemed polite in the first half, his blood got going after the 1st half sxz%show. He was very engaged and I for one like that. The SEC is war and nobody gets out unscathed. Twenty five more battles to go and maybe some gray hair. A win in Tally is always something to be proud of. The refs they bring in makes it seem you are not only fighting with the other team but the refs also. Go Fighting Gators!

PS: Everyone needs to keep the faith, we took some lumps but we blasted out of it. Growing pains…….

Tre probably started the run in the second half. He can shoot, is quick and can sometimes finish at the rim, but he forces some of these. But he was feeling it.

Agreed. I keep hoping he will settle in, then he misses easy bunnies and makes risky passes. But that’s a freshman for you.
