1-12 from behind the arc has to be a new low for the 1st half. Never thought we'd be worse than Stetson, UCF and Troy in basketball.
We're playing the 2nd half for the "season". We need to play well to have something to build on. Remember these are all new players with a new coach, let's see if they jell.
Predictions on the second half? Lose by 40? Lose by 20? Lose by 10? Pull off the miracle comeback? I'm going with lose by about 15. Doubt we ever get closer than 10.
Golden has to realize that this is not a therapy session. This is a business. If Reeves and Jones, are not going to step up their games on a consistent basis (Jones at all), then it is time to develop other players and give them playing time. Kugel should be developed and get more playing time than Jones. Lane should be getting more time to solidify the defense. Some players when given the opportunity and who don't have to look at the bench when they don't make a shot, become big producers.
I like the JJ and CC lineup. Only problem is JJ will probably not be able to go more than 5 minutes at a time.
We weren't doing that when they both were not in the game. We have to punish FSU like they used to punish us during MW's era. We have to use size advantage. Force them to shoot jump shots with 7 active players, and force them to double-team Castleton which leaves Fudge and Jitoboh under the boards for easy shots or put backs.
Interesting about transfers Golden brought in. White’s guys are by far the best players on the team. CC, JJ, Reaves, lane if he’d play.
The Seminoles have been getting away with hacks and the refs focus on the Gators, sssh. We don’t have any scorers that can get their own shot. That’s a problem. The Seminoles are playing aggressive and are hitting anything and all their ft’s. We are doomed. Put in Lane for Kowacie. Poor defense and can’t get inside and finish, another problem. we are getting out coached and our players have to lay eggs on every open shot. Unbelievable………….. I apologize on commenting on FSU getting a lot of nods for beating us and playing their asses off. Our offense is stand around and hope CC scores all the points, losing basketball.
