after further thought - I am not too upset if he did say something. May be selfish but that “outburst” seems to be the only time any Gator showed any bit of emotion at all in the entire half. No one else seemed to care at all. Bonham seemed better than prior games. Guess that is a positive.

as usual I’d like Lane to play more for his defense and energy. He can’t turn it over more or miss more shots than Jones. I have no idea how Jones gets any playing time.

 

Their much better than us and definitely better coached.
For us to win anything CC will have to average 20 and 10. Sorry but that’s the way it is. We have no major impact transfers. We have no big time returnees except for CC. All of this other stuff snd trying to be who we aren’t ain’t working.

I’d also say trying to pretend like this is just another game really doesn’t work. It’s clear this game meant much more to them. They were ready and we weren’t.

 

C’mon Gators turn it on!

 

The coaching staff needs to stay big. Take Reeves out of the game who for some reason is incapable of getting his own shot. He is a spot-up shooter who needs to have shots created for him at this point in the season.

I am sure other schools see that and know that if they play him close, it will be difficult for him to hurt them. I would put in Fudge who can create his own shot, and play him with Richard, Lofton, Jitoboh, and Castleton. I would only substitute those five when they become completely winded.

 

Tough half, disappointing.

Another observation - we look like we're too tight. Players need to loosen up a bit.

Lane should play. Our defensive effort or lack there of will make it tough to win this year.

I just want to see us compete. Loften and Castleton need to step up and lead. I’m not seeing any fire from the leadership.
