This team is SIMPLY NOT COMPETITIVE. MW got them better prepared than this. I don't think we saw two embarrassing games almost back to back under MW. It's like this team doesn't even want to compete. Or we have a COLOSSAL talent gap. Either way, Golden's problems are horrific.

 

What in the heck has happened to our athletics at Florida… ?

 

Refs see that our team is not competing. Why should they get any calls?

In the “real games” this year (all losses) our players play hero ball on wayyy too many possessions. Is that part of the plan? Are they being told “take the first shot you get, even if it’s a bad one”? I am stuck between the idea that we have a bunch of selfish players who have no idea what team basketball looks like versus some strange analytical approach that calls for bad shot taking.

 

West Virginia gave everyone a blueprint on how to beat Florida easily. Florida is too soft and can’t match physical teams. Doesn’t appear to be a season most Gator fans are going to enjoy.

It is a team of transfers with ZERO identity offensively or defensively. We do not have a bona fide 3-point shooter, and ever since Billy left, this program has become comfortable with losing and being mediocre.
