I like our team. Kugel has no idea how to fit in yet, but hopefully it will come. Bennett is giving a clinic on defense. They are screwing us up with their ball pressure and it is getting our offense out of rhythm.

 

Virginia shooting the lights out on everything. Have to hope something changes in the second half. Lazy passes aren't helping.

 

These studio halftime goobers are embarrassing.

 

Handlogten, Richard, and Clayton have kept us in this.

 

Corey Alexander went to UVA so obviously he is one sided.

Virginia is winning on forcing their playing style. We started off great. Next half we need to run them off the three line more and get quicker transition on misses. We are in this, but it doesn’t feel like we are in control of the game.

 

after going 1-7 from 3pt we made 4 of the next 7. that's the only reason we're in the game

they've completely eliminated our inside game. that has to be a focus at halftime, along with 3pt and jumpshot D

 

I'd start looking for some positives. The kids are playing well. Virginia shooting the lights out or it would be different at halftime. Lots of good play for Florida.

agreed. the only reason we're in it is we made some of our 3s near the end....otherwise we'd be down double-digits...but then again they've been shooting lights out

 

It’s the ACC Network. They are homers.

 

Kugel is like the diver who can do a 9 1/2 with 12 twists but then lands on his back. It doesn't matter if the ball doesn't go in the hole.

Also I wish he would use his physical skills on defense for more than the occasional overplay steal. Esp when he doesn't convert it anyway.

 

it's easy to talk National Championship aspirations before the season starts...or we've played a team with good defense

 

Our front court looks tall and lengthy, but seems to lack strength. Gotta get those guys in the weight room.
