Didn’t like that last second 3 by auburn but still a solid close to the half

 

What a great half overall. Jones finally giving us some good minutes. Let's keep it up.

 

HALFTIME: 26-23 on a buzzer-beater 3 from Auburn. I love the way Florida is playing!

 

Too bad au lucked out with the long 3 pointer to end the half

 

Id be interested to see minute allocation. It seems like a much better use of the bench. Cj, Jones, JJ and Reeves all getting solid minutes off the bench.

 

Hard fought half

I think one of the reasons we struggle on offense is because our offense doesn’t set picks for the ball handler to get them open, and defenses overplay the passes..

 

We also don't scare anyone shooting from three. 1-7 right now. Until we make them regularly, they won't worry about it.

 

26 points, they will be lucky to break 50. Shooting 1/8 from 3. The way Auburn pressures the ball you need guards that can take advantage of the pressure. All Florida can do is get it to CC at the top of the key and have him go 1 on 1. It worked at the end of the half there, but the weak guard play offensively stands out. Defense has been great though, hopefully Pearl doesn’t make adjustments.

If you had told me CC has 2 pts at the half and I would have assumed we were down 10.

 

I liked how we played this half..more focus and passion..competitive..can we improve a few things? Absolutely..but I see some improvement..hope the second half is as entertaining

 

Pearl isn't the only coach who can make adjustments. Florida played one of its best halfs of the season on the road at Auburn and all you want to do is gripe?!

 

They are 2 for 6 from 3 point arc..so not that much better really

 

Good half.
If we can cut down on the bad turnovers and start making open 3s, we can win this one.

 

Are you watching the same game as I am? That was not one of the teams best halves offensively. I’m not griping, I’m stating facts. The guard play has to be better on the offensive side.

 

Believe it or not..they have more turn overs than we do..12 to our 8

 

Todd Golden showed more emotion in that first half then Mike White did his entire tenure at Florida!

 

I didn't say it was their best offensive halves. You're moving the goalposts. Teams play defense too. They can win with defense too. FLORIDA IS WINNING and you're griping about . . . something. That's my point specifically.
