OGT: Jacksonville vs FLORIDA -- November 7, 2024 -- 8 PM

Walter has some uncanny hops and elevation around the hoop. He had a layin around the hoop against USF that while not a dunk, he "hung" in the air, the defense had hard body contact, and he still put it in, I thought that was impressive. I wonder what his vertical is? Sometimes "Walter the football stud" comes out in his hoops game, he is decievingly tough around the hoop at times, for his size.

 

I was thinking the same, but jayson didn’t make it the whole year, so, we’ll meah. Jayson and his game were phenomenal!

 

USF was better than I expected, they had quite a few new faces, they were terrific last year. Add in the fact they were "On a Mission" against UF with the emotions of losing their coach. They played their butts off I thought, and for 30 minutes were mano e mano against UF, the Gators just wore them down, Bulls legs got tired and the three's, they were blistering us with, started catching iron. I thnk that team will do very well this year.

Jax played hard too.

A couple of decent starter games for UF and the Gators proved their mettle. D, and preventing offensive boards, needs work but I'm excited for this club. The SEC is going to be a tough slog. Will UF be able to improve on that 11-7 SEC regular season record?

 

To me, the best thing about Walter’s slam was that smile afterwards. He was loving it and that is why college basketball is still special!

 

Jayson disqualified himself by getting thrown off of the team. I have loved Cheese since he was in pre-school, but ZP's season last year was extraordinary.
