Unfortunately I am not in the US, so while I have access to some channels, I can't subscribe to ESPN+, trust me I've tried lol.

You have a subscription that includes sec network? Or you use some kind of hack site? I would think if you pay for sec network through a legit intermediary, you should have access to sec+. You use the espn+ app, but you don’t need an espn+ subscription.

Also, a VPN should work to circumvent any country restrictions.

 

You don't need to subscribe to ESPN+ to get SEC+. If you have the ESPN channels through a TV provider, you get SEC+ as part of that package. You just have to access it through the ESPN app. https://www.espn.com/watch/

 

You always say if you have an espn package you get sec+, but you have to have a package that includes sec network. Likewise, you have to have acc network to get accx. Not all packages that include espn also include sec and acc.

It does appear that the espn+ app (where sec+ and accx are now house since the orginal espn app shut down several years ago)is only available in the US. A vpn should let you circumvent that though, unless they found a way to block vpn’s. I know it used to work.

 

I’m fully aware of how it works. I’ve been using it since it was made available and also been explaining how to use it to other forum members since before Ocala even joined here. Before there was an espn+ app and when there was an espn+ and an espn app. You get sec+ because you have sec network through youtubetv. Not all espn packages include sec network and you don’t get sec+ unless you have sec network.

 

That's true. I wasn't aware that you can have an ESPN package without having the SECN, ACCN, etc.

 

I wasn’t trying to make it more than it was. Sorry if my response to mcb was harsh. I tried to subtly correct you a few times before, but it didn’t appear to catch on. It’s almost semantics and most people that have espn do have sec, but you CAN get espn without sec and without acc. I try to pass along accurate info so we don’t confuse guys like lurker who don’t have espnu as part of their base package and think they get that with an espn+ sub for some reason.

I was hopeful a vpn would work but unfortunately you have to pay with an American debit or credit card, which I don't have. I even tried PayPal with US dollars but it still didn't like it. A friend offered to purchase me a gift card but you can't use a gift card to pay either.
It's frustrating but can't be helped as far as I can tell.
