We got two open shots. You can't ask for more than that. Such is basketball.

People going crazy saying it was a choke. Good lord.

Serves us right playing so poorly in the 2nd half. Just so many things done poorly it’s hard to point to a few things. Unless A and M is really good inside, it’s hard to think we never pounded it inside today compared to the UK game.
They defended our guards well and we were one dimensional.

Agree....6-of-11 is just ridiculous for this group.

He had an open 3, just didn't make it. I have no issue with the shot selection.

    Free throw disparity:

    Texas AM: 15-24
    Florida: 6-11

This game was so predictable when TexasAM turned it into a scrum rather than an up & down kind of game.

Poor execution bit the team over and over. Crazy decision-making, fumbled passes, and poor shot selection. How do you not attack the rim in that situation?

They had plenty of energy. They were not tired. We have so much depth and so that will never be a problem. It was coaching not to lose.

Outscored 7-2 in the final 4 minutes. We scored 2 points in 4 minutes. So much for that good will from the UK win.

    Well….
They did absolutely dominate the second half. I mean that’s not debatable.

Just an awful 2nd half. Some of the credit goes to Texas A&M defense and the way they kept driving to the basket on offense. That's the worst half Walter Clayton has played this year. I don't think he scored after halftime. And the team as a whole did a lot of standing around and not really working to get open. Pullin kept looking for guys to pass to, but nobody was getting open and he was forced to go one on one and do step back shot after step back shot. They have a week off to regroup and look in the mirror before Auburn comes to town.

We had no idea when to do when they switched defense. In the timeout, Humphrey reported CTG instructed the team to stick with its man sets. We couldn’t get anything done in the half court.

Coach told them not to attack the rim obviously; no team plays on their heels unless they are told to. Metrics loses again.

How about how we were outscored the second half?

Who do they have that can stop Samuel? We will be fine but cant forget about a guy that that should have went for 20 and 10 today

Todd better learn how to manage when to call time-outs or he and Napier will go down in infamy for the wrong reasons.
