The problem isn’t good shooting, it’s horrific defense. The team obviously wasn’t prepared to start the game.

 

They are 6 out of 7..86 %

yeah, quite bad. Lots of unnecessary double teams on the perimeter leaving the lane wide open and guys uncovered.

Either it is poor execution of the called defense or bad defensive choice to play this defense. Need to change it up.

 

Need to stop letting them drive to the basket for easy points.

 

Needed 44 and 23 to come in badly

 

Jones starting off 0-2 not a good sign. He seems to be quite streaky game to game. If he starts out hitting shots, he does well. If not, he is awful offensively and since he doesn’t really offer much as a passer or defense...not much help.

sadly Jones has had way more off days than on days for Florida.

 

And we need to drive to the basket. Twice Duruji faked a three and passed the ball. He has to drive it there and pass to Colin down low or draw a foul.

 

They usually do defensively. Can’t be relying on Lane to score though McKissic can go off

 

Looks like they've listened to Mike White after the last TO.

They are 3 out 3 from 3 pointers..they have missed a total of 2 shots wow

 

And making wide open 3s, and hitting mid range shots...

 

It has to slow right, the one guy shot 17% in conference play. Law of averages hopefully brings this back to earth.

 

We need to get a body on Radford.

 

Losing the 3 pt battle. Everything else pretty much equal.

 

Except everyone sets shooting records against UF.

 

I try to coach myself into rallying around this team haha. I’m so tired of these pathetic starts. Cmon guys! Get it going!

 

We're 5/7 from 2-point range, but none from three point.
