Through all of our celebrating at the end I failed to mention CC had another double-double...11 pts and 13 boards
I actually want to agree without irony. I thought Ohio St truly battled and deserves some serious respect. That was a game among warriors.
Fleming led all Gator scorers with 19 pts and did that coming off the bench, although he wound up with starter minutes at 33.
Absolutely - I don't think anyone knew how this game was going to end. Fans got their freaking money's worth, for sure......
if the rule is verticality as the announcers said, it may have been the right call. Couldn’t tell with the left heel.
It would have been better overall but OSU did a good job around the rim and we missed too many gimmes.
I watched them play Xavier, same kind of game, I mentioned earlier this would be a tough contest and boy it sure was, they stretched us to the limit.
The stats from tonight are a jumbled mess. Our vaunted defense let them shoot over 50 percent and we only shot 37. But we forced 18 turnovers and had 16 offensive rebounds, so we had 13 more shot attempts, plus 13 extra FTs. And only won by 3. But a win that will serve them well all season.
Yeap..but a great experience for our team..continues to build up their confidence..that even when things are not going their way, keep battling and good things will come your way..building toughness
Agree MC, it's impressive to see the toughness and resilience. The different ways, the different options they have to beat you. Flemming is providing some great offense off the bench. You see the chemistry developing. It's not a stretch to believe that UF could enter conference play unbeaten or with no more than 1 loss.
Just a thought. We need a mod to sticky a "Crow Hall of Fame" post at the top. Only they can update and comment. Every week they can list the honorees there. The only down side I can see is that tonight could be the start of an ecological disaster. PS: Crow is a poor substitute for turkey.
