Terrible loss today. Delbrey hit hard, Gator bats not very good and lost to a team that couldn't score in three games against Kentucky. Very concerning.

Here’s my comment from two weeks ago.

“This team looks to finish in the middle of the SEC. Thin in the pitching department and they simply can’t hit good pitching, much less what they’ll encounter in conference play. This game looked like a repeat of the West Coast fiasco”.

I still think a this team will struggle on the mound and at the plate. As much as I love Gator softball, I just don’t think we have the horses to be a front runner. Tim’s recruiting the past few years has not been stellar. I’m anxious for our next class to get to Hogtown.

Did not realize that UK shut them out for the series. Another rise ball pitcher they couldn't handle and Delbrey did not fool anyone. This 2nd game will be very telling.

In softball, you need a dominant pitcher. We don't have one. Our out of conference is too soft so we are not prepare to handle good pitching.

They also scored zero runs in the 3 games against Kentucky.
