Unless it was a team doing it against UF. Then it would be allowed. Especially UK and Tenn.

 

The TV team kept saying that the Meat Chicken blocked the ball before it hit the backboard and therefore it was a good block. What they seemed incapable of seeing was that in one camera angle the ball was on a downward trajectory when it was blocked, and therefore it was goaltending. The zebras got it right.

 

Just enjoy the win. If you're unhappy with wins, you'll be miserable almost all the time.

 

Didn’t have depth that could stay with our guys.

 

As for Michigan being a so-so team . . . . maybe. But this was only their 2nd game with their head coach on the bench.

 

What jumps out again and again is you'll see a Gator buried in a crowd of opponents yet he's the won that goes up and grabs the rebound. That's awesome effort. Handlogten, Samuel, Condon, and Haugh are really good at it, and then our guards have the ability to wade in a grab a few too.

 

I didn’t think we deserved to win this game because of these numbers. 3s and FTs are going to come back and haunt us at some point. I would add excessive/dumb turnovers.

Having said that, I love the grit, defensive effort and the rebounding effort. Those three can cover a lot of sins. Just want us to become a complete team. The potential is there.

totally agree, but our Wake Forest loss at WF is nothing compared to some of the losses supposedly good teams have so far. I'm looking at you Kentucky.
Speaking of which I like our chances of beating them early in the season

Let's not forget, the women play Michigan at 6:30.

 

Get the brooms out, going to sweep the varmints out the door.

 

I noticed that the refs let each team play very physical ball and were slow on the whistle. Not sure who that favored.

 

And our women beat Michigan handily. Go Gators!!!
