Really disappointed in Mertz today. Their D line is really good but he's had chances. I never thought I would say this but we may need to give Lagway a shot here. We are getting punked on our home field.

 

The exact same team as day one.

 

I had hope. Billy’s killing hope.

 

4-8 - Vegas odds makers must have seen the Swiss cheese D stuffing the O all fall camp. Don’t believe anything you hear out of fall camp. Our D against our O is a terrible barometer it seems.

 

And, show some creativity.

 

Is any of the play we are seeing matching the reports we were getting during camp?

 

This looks like year 4 of having a losing record. I was just hoping to finally be back above.500.

Depressing

 

There are several "issues". The first is that the Oline has NOT progressed. Miami is NOT a playoff team. Second, the defense is better like the a 3-9 midget is "taller" than one who is 3-8. Nothing tells me they are going to win a game this year. They may not lose one but not a real weapon.


Now to the biggie: Napier is playing things WAY too close to the vest on offense. Absolutely NO plays for Lagway. He IS is lifeline for his job. Nothing tells me Mertz is going to do things magical with more weapons.

C'mon Billy. Get resolute!!!

 

Hard to think the season might be over by halftime in the first game.

I’ve thought we should put DJ in if we’re either way ahead or way down. At this point, I consider us way down.

I think Napier is too bull headed to replace Mertz.

If he plays DJ and he shows some promise, maybe he can survive with a losing record. If he doesn’t play him, maybe we’ll never get to see DJ play.

 

Rebellions are built on hope.

 

Maybe next year we will have a winning season, we will be lucky to win a few games this year with this coaching staff

 

A foolish athletic director that overpaid him.

 

Coaching helps but if you recruit #1 classes year after year you win.

Very underwhelmed. Season is done if we do not show up in the second half. Bye Bye home opener win streak.

In the show featuring Dream the Endless, he wins a battle against Lucifer by using hope as he says, "for what can kill hope?" Billy Napier, that's what.

 

Yes we are not recruiting to uga level, but the question is whether our talent is this bad? Not asking for a nattie, just to not be down 2 tds at home to Miami (after 2 losing seasons). We will not recruit if players don’t believe in our coaches (we are $ competitive).

 

100 yards passing this game may be achievable.

 

It certainly isn’t fun.
