Is Mertz’ career over?

 

Don't get too excited, Miami is up 28 points with 8 minutes left, this isnt their a game

 

Not as good a game, but maybe like the game in Miami where it was clear Leak should be the guy going forward?

Not bagging on Mertz, but 3 points and zero 3rd down success speaks for itself

 

Once it got to 24-10 I fired up red dead redemption 2 and hunt some legendary animals

 

Many times they did blitz, but Mertz had some time in this game. I saw him just miss seeing wide open receivers all game long.

 

Gosh, I really liked Mertz last year. But if we have a "Tebow" like player that could give a glimmer of hope in the future. We need to roll with DJ.

That Tebow sophomore season was so exciting even with the struggles. If we could get anything like that from DJ and end up .500 that in itself is a win.

 

I know right, now I might have to watch the game next week and I was already making plans to do something else.

We should pick proven commodities moving forward.

Napier "looked good," but there were red flags both schematically and with respect to margin of victory.

We need to pick coaches who offer at least one of the following:
1. Elite on one side of the ball
2. Coach who wins consistently by great margins at a smaller school
3. History of winning at a power 5 school as a head coach is a bonus.
