Well we played horribly for 60% of the game and still nearly covered. Has to be a good sign right?

 

Loved Condon’s play tonight, but hope to get back to Samuel and Micah starting as soon as we can, with rotating Condon and Haugh in.

We play our best with that rotation.

Probably right, only recall some couldnt get the game. Plus when Im not watching, I like to check in and get the score. Sometimes the commentary can be misleading.

We came out sleepwalking, not taking the game seriously. Then we started pressing and screwing up trying to overcome the lackadaisical start. Then we took better care of the ball and started seeing shots go in, and took over from there.
Merrimack should make noise in their conference.

Did they play zone? I didn’t notice. Weird that the announcers never mentioned it.

 

Zones tend to make teams start standing around. Once we started moving and not walking into trouble, we were okay.

Alex had a double double. How many freshmen have done this at Florida? 16 Rebounds, DeClerk maybe as a freshman. This game showed he has a developing game and will get better. The SEC has a lot of tough, strong bigs ahead, we need both of the bigs back by Christmas. All I want is my two front bigs………., we are going to need the depth.
